Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Glide, a macOS screen-recording and editing application. By downloading or using Glide, you agree to them.

License

Glide is free to download, record with, and preview. Exporting finished videos requires a Pro subscription or a one-time Lifetime license. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Glide on your own Macs (up to 5 machines per license key). You may not redistribute, resell, share your license key publicly, or reverse engineer the application except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Activation

After purchase, Polar provides a license key (shown on your receipt and emailed to you). Open Glide, go to Settings (⌘,), and paste the key to unlock Pro. The key activates Pro on up to 5 of your own Macs.

Payments and billing

Purchases are processed by Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. Polar handles billing, taxes, and receipts. A monthly subscription renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. A Lifetime license is a single payment that grants ongoing access as described on the pricing page.

Refunds

If Glide does not work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will arrange a refund through Polar, subject to Polar’s refund processing. Where local consumer law grants you a longer or statutory right of withdrawal, that law applies.

Your content

You own everything you record and create with Glide. Because Glide is local-first, your recordings stay on your Mac and we claim no rights to them. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record and share whatever appears on your screen.

Disclaimer and liability

Glide is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Always keep your own backups of important recordings.

Changes

We may update these terms as Glide evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Seller and governing law

Glide is sold by NextActionClub (넥스트액션클럽) · Owner: Hyeonmuk Choi · Business Reg. No. 593-08-02618 · 2F 201-J173, 207 Jungdae-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, with Polar acting as Merchant of Record for payments and taxes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute shall be subject to the courts having jurisdiction over the seller's place of business in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
